The Lincoln Abes football team (Warren, MI), was crushed 58-12 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting St. Clair Saints (St. Clair, MI)

The Saints (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Mariners enter the Macomb Area - Silver contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Marine City crushed Madison (Madison Heights, MI), 71-30, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Abes confront the Clintondale Dragons (Clinton Township, MI) in a Macomb Area - Bronze bout, on Friday, September 12. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 50-8 non-league win over Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI).
