The Ravenna Ravens edged the host McKinley Red Dragons football team by a score of 27-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Ravens face the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, September 12. Ravenna will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 53-7 non-league win over Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH).

With the defeat, McKinley drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Red dragons host Hubbard (Hubbard, OH) to meet the Eagles in a Northeast 8 test on Friday, September 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-0. Hubbard won 37-14 in their recent non-league test against University School (Hunting Valley, OH)
