The Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX) football knocked off the visiting North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX), 37-15 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Skeeters now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Forney for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Mesquite will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 55-10 non-league win over Plano East (Plano, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, North Mesquite drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Adams (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 5A-1 Region II District 6 game on Thursday, September 11. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 1-1. Adams lost 63-9 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln (Dallas, TX)
