Michigan High School Football - Morrice can't get by St. Patrick
September 5, 2025: Morrice, MI 48857 St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI), 14-7 in a league battle.
With the win, St. Patrick improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Shamrocks travel to Byron (Byron, MI) to play the Eagles in a Mid-State - Red (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 12. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Byron lost 48-20 in their recent league battle against Fulton (Middleton, MI)
The Orioles now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Alcona for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Morrice will play a Tigers team coming off a 26-0 non-league loss to Au Gres-Sims (Au Gres, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
