Iowa High School Football - Mount Ayr loses to Riverside
September 5, 2025: Oakland, IA 51560 Riverside Bulldogs (Oakland, IA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA), 44-32 in a league battle.
With the win, Riverside advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to AHSTW (Avoca, IA) to play the Vikings in a A District 7 battle on Friday, September 12. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 1-1. AHSTW won 54-13 in their recent non-league battle against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA)
The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasantville for a non-league match on Friday, September 12. Mount Ayr will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 21-20 non-league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.
