The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ) and the visiting Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), witnessed Mount Olive's football squad topple Roxbury by a count of 35-7.

With the win, Mount Olive advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Marauders travel to Randolph (Randolph, NJ) to encounter the Rams in a Super - Liberty White battle on Friday, September 12. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Randolph lost 24-14 in their recent league battle against Morristown (Morristown, NJ)

The Gaels now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Sparta for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Roxbury will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 34-7 league win over Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
