September 5, 2025: Muskegon, MI 49441 The Rockford Rams football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Muskegon Big Reds to 26 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Haven for a Ottawa-Kent - Red test on Friday, September 12. Rockford will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 32-14 non-league loss to Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-1.
The Big Reds (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Garfield Heights (Garfield Heights, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Garfield Heights nipped Denby (Detroit, MI), 32-8, in a non-league challenge.
