September 5, 2025: Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064 The Orono Riots football team (Orono, ME), was crushed 60-18 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME)
The Seagulls (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME). The Seahawks enter the 8-Man Small South (8 Man) contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Boothbay was trounced by Telstar (Bethel, ME), 20-6, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Riots battle the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) in a 8-Man Small North (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 12. Orono will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 50-0 league win over St. John Valley (Madawaska, ME).
