September 5, 2025: Texarkana, TX 75503 Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX), 24-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 0-2. Daingerfield lost 41-30 in their recent non-league match against Tatum (Tatum, TX)
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 12. Paris will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 54-13 non-league win over Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).
