New York High School Football - Pelham Memorial defeats Peekskill
September 5, 2025: Pelham, NY 10803 In Friday's non-league match, the host Pelham Memorial Pelicans football squad scored a good 14-0 victory over the Peekskill Red Devils.
The Pelicans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Irvington (Irvington, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 1 B/C/D battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Irvington overcame Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY), 26-8, in a non-league battle.
The Red Devils now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Greeley for a Section 1 Hudson Valley battle on Saturday, September 13. Peekskill will play a Quakers team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Fox Lane (Bedford, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 0-1.
