Massachusetts High School Football - Pilgrim nips Seekonk

September 5, 2025: Seekonk, MA 02771

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) and the host Seekonk Warriors (Seekonk, MA), witnessed Pilgrim's football squad edge Seekonk by a tally of 21-20.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Woonsocket was nudged by St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 33-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Ludlow Lions (Ludlow, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 12. Seekonk will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 48-0 non-league win over Westfield (Westfield, MA).
