Vermont High School Football - Poultney crushed by Spaulding
September 5, 2025: Barre, VT 05641 The Spaulding Crimson Tide overwhelmed the visiting Poultney Blue Devils football squad by a count of 39-7 in Friday's non-league test.
The Crimson Tide now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milton for a Lake test on Friday, September 12. Spaulding will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 54-12 non-league loss to Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Poultney drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Woodstock (Woodstock, VT) to meet the Wasps in a CVL test on Saturday, September 13. The Wasps go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Woodstock lost 35-14 in their recent non-league challenge against U-32 (Montpelier, VT)
