The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) and the host Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ), witnessed Rahway's football squad knock off Scotch Plains-Fanwood by a tally of 35-7.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Perth Amboy dropped by Carteret (Carteret, NJ), 28-2, in a non-league bout.

The Raiders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host New Brunswick for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will encounter a Zebra team coming off a 56-6 non-league loss to Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ). The Zebra record now stands at 0-2.
