The Rootstown Rovers football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Trinity Trojans to 0 in the Rovers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rovers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brooklyn for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Rootstown will face a Hurricanes team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-3.

The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Berkshire (Burton, OH). The Badgers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Berkshire ran past Cardinal (Middlefield, OH), 42-0, in a non-league game.
