Texas High School Football - Temple sneaks past Round Rock

September 5, 2025: Round Rock, TX 78681

The Temple Wildcats football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Round Rock Dragons to 28 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Reagan for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Temple will meet a Rattlers squad coming off a 28-13 non-league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Round Rock drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX) to meet the Rangers in a 6A Region IV District 25 test on Friday, September 12. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Vista Ridge won 42-21 in their recent non-league test against Bowie (Austin, TX)
