Washington Prexies (Washington, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), 42-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Washington advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Prexies travel to Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA) to encounter the Raiders in a WPIAL AA Century battle on Friday, September 12. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Waynesburg Central won 27-20 in their recent non-league battle against California (Coal Center, PA)
