September 5, 2025: Hingham, MA 02043 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Hanover Hawks (Hanover, MA) and the host Notre Dame Academy Cougars (Hingham, MA), saw Hanover's soccer squad hold off Notre Dame Academy by a count of 5-4.
The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against North Quincy (North Quincy, MA). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last match, North Quincy nipped Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Cougars now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Natick for a non-league match on Monday, September 8. Notre Dame Academy will meet a Redhawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Milton (Milton, MA). The Redhawks record now stands at 2-0.
