Maryland High School Soccer - Connelly School of the Holy Child nudged by Georgetown Day
September 5, 2025: Potomac, MD 20854 Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Georgetown Day moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mighty Hoppers travel to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to confront the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the confront the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Gators (Bethesda, MD) in a ISL outing, on Thursday, October 9. Connelly School of the Holy Child will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
