California High School Football - McFarland loses to Granite Hills
September 5, 2025: McFarland, CA 93250 Granite Hills Grizzlies (Porterville, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), 21-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Granite Hills advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Grizzlies host Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Mira Monte won 20-12 in their recent non-league battle against Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA)
The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Del Oro for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. McFarland will play a Suns team coming off a 33-8 non-league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA). The Suns record now stands at 0-1.
