Illinois High School Football - Round Lake tops Maine East
September 5, 2025: Round Lake, IL 60073 The Round Lake Panthers football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Maine East Blue Demons to 8 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayslake North for a non-league test on Friday, September 12.
With the loss, Maine East moves to 1-1 on the season. The Blue demons host Wheeling (Wheeling, IL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Wheeling won 68-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL)
