North Carolina High School Soccer - Laney knocks off Dixon
September 5, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28405 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), saw Laney's soccer squad knock off Dixon by a score of 3-0.
The Buccaneers (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Wallace-Rose Hill got by Clinton (Clinton, NC), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Dixon will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Richlands (Richlands, NC).
