Massachusetts High School Soccer - Pope Francis Prep nudges West Springfield
September 5, 2025: Springfield, MA 01118 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Pope Francis Prep Cardinals (Springfield, MA) and the visiting West Springfield Terriers (West Springfield, MA), saw Pope Francis Prep's soccer squad hold off West Springfield by a score of 3-2.
The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, East Longmeadow was tipped by Belchertown (Belchertown, MA), 4-0, in a non-league test.
The Terriers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Longmeadow for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9.
