In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Burney Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Loyalton Grizzlies.

The Raiders (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Weed (Weed, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Weed achieved victory over Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Grizzlies now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Molinos for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Loyalton will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Corning (Corning, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-8.
