California High School Volleyball - Head-Royce Saint Mary's
September 5, 2025: Oakland, CA 94602 Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Bruins come into the challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Patrick-St. Vincent gained a win over St. Helena (St. Helena, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Jayhawks now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marin Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Head-Royce will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Justin-Siena (Napa, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
