The Charlotte Christian Knights soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Jackson Day Mariners to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Knights now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlotte Country Day School for a NCISAA Charlotte game on Tuesday, September 16.
The Mariners (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots come into the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Piedmont Community Charter edged Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 6-1, in a league game.
