North Carolina High School Soccer - Oxford Prep nudged by East Wake Academy
September 5, 2025: Zebulon, NC 27597 East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, East Wake Academy improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC) to play the Tigers in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A bout on Monday, September 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Triangle Math & Science lost 9-1 in their recent non-league bout against Green Level (Cary, NC)
With the loss, Oxford Prep moves to 3-3 on the year. The Griffins travel to Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC) to play the Firebirds in a Triangle North 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Falls Lake won 4-1 in their recent non-league bout against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC)
