September 5, 2025: Smyrna, DE 19977 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Smyrna Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Newark Yellowjackets.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers enter the Henlopen North outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Polytech tipped Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the ASPIRA Charter Wolves (Newark, DE) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 8. Newark will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
