Missouri High School Soccer - Notre Dame nudges St. Francis Borgia
September 5, 2025: Washington, MO 63090 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO) and the host St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO), saw Notre Dame's soccer squad hold off St. Francis Borgia by a count of 2-1.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL). The Red Devils enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Murphysboro tipped Carterville (Carterville, IL), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Knights battle the Jackson Fighting Indians (Jackson, MO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. St. Francis Borgia will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Fighting Indians come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO).
