In Friday's non-league match, the visiting McIntosh Chiefs softball team scored a nice 12-2 win over the Columbus Blue Devils.

The Chiefs (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Packers enter the non-league game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Colquitt County was routed by Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA), 10-1, in a non-league game.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to King's Ridge Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Columbus will play a Tigers squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Walker (Marietta, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
