The Ponderosa Mustangs softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Grand Junction Central Warriors to 4 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Family for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. Ponderosa will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Niwot (Niwot, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.

The Warriors (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Grandview (Aurora, CO). The Wolves come into the non-league outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Grandview got by Chaparral (Parker, CO), 8-2, in a non-league outing.
