September 5, 2025: Lone Grove, OK 73443 The Lone Grove Longhorns routed the visiting Perry Maroons softball team by a margin of 12-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Longhorns now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilburton for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Lone Grove will encounter a Diggers team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Latta (Ada, OK). The Diggers record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Perry drops to 10-12 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Purcell (Purcell, OK) to meet the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 3-11. Purcell won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Prague (Prague, OK)
