Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE), 14-3 in a non-league game.

With the win, Millard North upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO) to play the SaberCats in a 5A/4A Northern game on Friday, September 5. The SaberCats enter the game with a record of 3-4. Fossil Ridge won 19-15 in their recent league game against Greeley West (Greeley, CO)

The Blue Devils now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fossil Ridge for a non-league match on Friday, September 5. Wayne will confront a SaberCats team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The SaberCats record now stands at 3-5.
