In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cougars volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars.

With the win, Cardinal Mooney improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Riverview Sarasota (Sarasota, FL) to face the Rams in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Rams go into the test with a record of 4-2. Riverview Sarasota lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bradenton Christian (Bradenton, FL)

The Jaguars now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tampa Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Academy of the Holy Names will face a Terrapins squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Venice (Venice, FL). The Terrapins record now stands at 4-4.
