Texas High School Volleyball - Barbers Hill over North Shore

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) and the host North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX), observed Barbers Hill's volleyball team top North Shore by a tally of 3-0.

The Eagles (24-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Brook (Beaumont, TX). The Bruins enter the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, West Brook beat Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Humble for a 6A Region III District 23 test on Tuesday, September 9. North Shore will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Porter (Porter, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-12.
