California High School Volleyball - California tips El Modena
September 5, 2025: Whittier, CA 90604 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the California Condors (Whittier, CA) and the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), observed California's volleyball team hold off El Modena by a count of 2-1.
The Condors (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Poly was edged by Grant (Van Nuys, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Vanguards now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Rancho for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. El Modena will encounter a Dons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Dons record now stands at 2-8.
