Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) and the host Canterbury Crusaders (St. Petersburg, FL), observed River Ridge's volleyball team top Canterbury by a count of 2-0.

The Royal Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Bulls enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Wiregrass Ranch was knocked off by Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Crusaders now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9.
