September 5, 2025: Chula Vista, CA 91911 Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hilltop advances its record to 13-6 on the season. The Lancers travel to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Southwest SD won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against High Tech CV (Chula Vista, CA)
The Spartans (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Imperial gained a win over Calipatria (Calipatria, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
