September 5, 2025: Elko, NV 89801 In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Elko Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Debbie Smith CTE Academy Mavericks.
With the win, Elko improves its record to 8-10 on the season. The Indians host Truckee (Truckee, CA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 3-4. Truckee won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Dayton (Dayton, NV)
The Mavericks now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Creek for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Debbie Smith CTE Academy will face a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-7.
