The La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX) volleyball held off the host Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX), 3-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Marlin for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12.
