The Stafford Spartans volleyball squad (Stafford, TX), dropped 3-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX)

With the win, Lamar Consolidated improves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Terry (Rosenberg, TX) to battle the Rangers in a 5A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Rangers enter the contest with a record of 5-3. Terry won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX)

Next, the Spartans battle the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 4A Region III District 21 battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Stafford will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 7-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Dekaney (Houston, TX).
