In Friday's non-league test, the host Niles North Vikings volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs.

With the win, Niles North improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Vikings host Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL) to face the Colonels in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 2-2. Francis W. Parker lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Amundsen (Chicago, IL)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marist for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Riverside-Brookfield will face a RedHawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 7-0.
