In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Palatine Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pius XI Catholic Popes.

With the win, Palatine improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL) to face the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, September 5.
