The Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) volleyball tipped the host Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX), 3-2 in Friday's non-league match.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 match, on Tuesday, September 9. Pearce will attempt to move on its 15-10 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kimball (Dallas, TX).

The Bulldogs (21-9) will now prepare for their match against Forney (Forney, TX). The Jackrabbits enter the 6A Region II District 10 match with a 17-14 record. In their last match, Forney held off Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
