Texas High School Volleyball - University over South Hills
September 5, 2025: Waco, TX 76706 Fans at Friday's non-league test between the University Trojans (Waco, TX) and the visiting South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), saw University's volleyball squad achieve victory over South Hills by a score of 3-0.
With the win, University improves its record to 8-15 on the season. The Trojans host Lorena (Lorena, TX) to face the Leopards in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 18-10. Lorena won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Crawford (Crawford, TX)
Next, the Scorpions meet the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. South Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 6-21 season record. The Steers come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Irving (Irving, TX).
