September 6, 2022: Shrub Oak, NY 10588 Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets face the Ketcham Indians (Wappingers Falls, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Lakeland will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
The Tigers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walter Panas for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 7. Croton-Harmon will face a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
