The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears come into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, La Cueva overwhelmed Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 26-20, in a non-league game.
The Monarchs now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cibola for a non-league game on Monday, September 12. Manzano will battle a Cougars team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
