September 6, 2022: La Villa, TX 78562 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX) and the host La Villa Cardinals (La Villa, TX), saw Juarez-Lincoln's volleyball squad beat La Villa by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Juarez-Lincoln upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Huskies host Roma (Roma, TX) to play the Gladiators in a 5A Region IV District 30 bout on Saturday, September 10. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Roma won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Economedes (Edinburg, TX)
The Cardinals now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host San Perlita for a non-league bout on Friday, September 9. La Villa will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to San Isidro (San Isidro, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 3-5.
