With the win, Sacred Heart of Jesus upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Comets host Paraclete (Lancaster, CA) to play the Spirits in a Gold Coast bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Spirits go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Paraclete lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Alemany (Mission Hills, CA)
The Belles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary for a Santa Fe bout on Thursday, September 15.
