September 6, 2023: Machesney Park, IL 61115 The Harlem Huskies volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Byron Tigers to 1 in the Huskies non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Huskies now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hononegah for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 game on Thursday, September 7. Harlem will meet a Indians team coming off a 2-0 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The Indians record now stands at 7-4.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Indians enter the Big Northern game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Winnebago was nudged by Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
