The Steel Valley Ironmen football team (Munhall, PA), was crushed 42-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the win, Bishop Canevin advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Laurel (New Castle, PA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, September 13. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Laurel lost 40-8 in their recent non-league bout against Riverside (Ellwood City, PA)

The Ironmen now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Park for a WPIAL AA Allegheny bout on Friday, September 13. Steel Valley will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 42-6 non-league win over Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
